Thursdays of Image Processing
Introduction
This informal seminar of at most 25 people is dedicated to the large field of "Image processing" however restricted to mathematically oriented applications. For instance, we can discuss of texture analysis, watermarking, variational methods in edge detection, the 2D wavelet transform, etc ... The seminar will be based on the reading of papers selected by all the members. The presentation of the current research of one of the members is of course allowed. Each time, one person will be in charge of leading the discussion.
A call for interesting papers, if possible available to everyone (web links, known journals, electronic support) is thus made. You can send all your suggestions to
L. Jacques.
The seminar takes place every other Thursday at 14:30 alternatively in the
FYMA seminar room (3th floor, tower B, M. de Hemptine) and in the TVNUM room (1st floor, Stévin building) of
TELE for approximately 1 hour, in English or in French according to the preferences of the audience.
